Tricked Out News 2.4 Released

Tricked Out News has updated its source to work with the latest release of RavenNuke 2.40.00 RC1.  The TON mod adds features like print, save as pdf, social bookmarking, and much more.  It is easy to install and very handy to have around.

 

The Tricked Out News mod for Ravennuke(tm) is my idea of what the perfect news module for a CMS should be. It can be used for a public or private blog or news system. With this mod, you gain control of the display of news on your main page and have an enhanced interface for comments and articles. Social bookmarking is made simple with many of todays most popular social networking sites just a click away for you visitors and members. You gain the added function of PDF export of articles as well as Printer Friendly and Email to a Friend options. This mod is so simple to install a Caveman could install it, or even a beginner. Two seperate downloads are available, one with a Character Counter mod to allow the control of how many words are allowed in the Story Text to even out the news when in 2 columns and one without this mod.
