This phpnuke mod allows you to quickly add any javascript or cascading style sheet to your nuke header. It reads all the .js or .css from a folder and adds them appropriately. This allows you to add them quickly and remove them quickly.

This is a cool little phpnuke mod from NuNuke that automagically adds Javascript or CSS to your nuke header. So all you have to do is drop a new .js or .css into their appropriate folders on your ftp. It will even work per module. You can find out many more details on his site.

After being used here for awhile and i am confident that it works as i intend i am releasing the new improved version of the CSS and JS adder. Simply upload and add the required header.php edit and your set to go. To add a js or css file simply upload to either the css or js dir. Want per module basis? just create a new dir in the modules dir with the name of the module for example News would be found includes/head/modules/News here you can drop both css and js files.

This mod takes dynamic urls and turns them into shortlinks for phpnuke. It is easy to install and very well supported. This mod increases search engine crawlibility almost 100%.

Possibly one of the best things that ever happened to Phpnuke EVER was the update and maintenance of this mod, Shortlinks. SEO is important and this is one the biggest factors. Search engines like Google will not crawl or index very much of your content with dynamic urls. This mod comes pre-installed in Raven Nuke 2.40.00 RC1.

Bad Url

modules.php?name=Content&pa=browse_tags

Good Url

content-browse-tags.html

As you can see from the above it makes short urls for your phpnuke content and fairly easy to manage. This is hands down one of the best mods ever for Phpnuke in my opinion.

Since you are reading this download description, we assume that you are considering creating shortened URLs on your PHP-Nuke site, such as those seen on this site. By way of background, the original purpose of the shortened URLs concept was to improve upon search engine crawling and indexing. The reason for this, is that search engines were having issues with crawling / indexing long, dynamically generated URLs. While this may no longer be an issue with most search engines, who knows for certain AND many people like “user friendly” links.
For a complete list of current TegoNuke(tm) ShortLinks features and other project related information, visit either the TegoNuke(tm) ShortLinks project page or TegoNuke(tm) ShortLinks Wiki.
Here is what is included in this new release:
Bug Reports:
0000266: Fix pagination in Stories Archives showall function

0000265: Add support for removed ttitle in Reviews comments within RavenNuke(tm)

0000264: Add support for dashes and underscores in user name within Journal module

0000263: Add support for more characters in the Encyclopedia module and Web Links Search

0000262: Add support for removal of “title” in RavenNuke(tm) Downloads and Web Links

0000220: Members List pagination links were not tapped
NOTE: This has been tested on PHP-Nuke 7.6 / RavenNuke(tm) ONLY! This should work on other releases as well, but you will have to adjust the edits accordingly to your version and patch level.

The Tricked Out News mod for Ravennuke(tm) is my idea of what the perfect news module for a CMS should be. It can be used for a public or private blog or news system. With this mod, you gain control of the display of news on your main page and have an enhanced interface for comments and articles. Social bookmarking is made simple with many of todays most popular social networking sites just a click away for you visitors and members. You gain the added function of PDF export of articles as well as Printer Friendly and Email to a Friend options. This mod is so simple to install a Caveman could install it, or even a beginner. Two seperate downloads are available, one with a Character Counter mod to allow the control of how many words are allowed in the Story Text to even out the news when in 2 columns and one without this mod.

Kguske has created a social bookmarking mod for Phpnuke that you can pretty much integrate anywhere on your site. The bookmark mod does not allow you to turn certain social sites off and the list could of supported sites could be longer.

This phpnuke mod will make all news link that don't belong to your domain bold, underline, and nofollow.

For a lot of our themes, we don”t have special classes just for links that are in the news. So it makes them hard to pin point sometimes. So I wrote this little hack and I thought I would share.

Most likely in your current theme’s theme.php file you will find a function called themearticle. Below is an example, but yours may not look exactly like it.

function themearticle ($aid, $informant, $datetime, $title, $thetext, $topic, $topicname, $topicimage, $topictext, $notes) { //montego - added $notes for RavenNuke
global $admin, $sid, $tipath, $index;

On a new line after the global call add

//Floppy's Underline and Bold Phnuke News Hack (www.clanthemes.com)
$thetext = preg_replace('#<a(.*?)</a>#','<strong><u><a$1</a></u></strong>',$thetext);
//Floppy's Nofollow External Links for Phpnuke News Hack (www.clanthemes.com)
$your_domain = 'clanthemes.com';//Change this to your domain
preg_match_all('#href="((http://www.|http://|www.)(.*?))"#',$thetext,$matches);
foreach($matches[0] as $link){
if(stristr($link, $your_domain) == false){
$thetext = str_replace($link, $link.' rel="nofollow" target="_blank"', $thetext);
}
}

Save and Upload. You should be done. If you don’t want it to be nofollow you can remove rel=”nofollow” from the below line.

$thetext = str_replace($link, $link.' rel="nofollow" target="_blank"', $thetext);

The same goes for opening in a new window. If you don’t want it to be bold or underline you can modify this line.

$thetext = preg_replace('#<a(.*?)</a>#','<strong><u><a$1</a></u></strong>',$thetext);

Noob Note: Only external links will be nofollow. If you set your domain correctly all of your links will be followed by search engines.

Example:http://www.clanthemes.com/article398-operation-flashpoint-2-theme-released.html

The nuke info mod allows you to view your phpinfo() from your nuke admin panel. It is a great mod to have on hand when you need it around.

Kguske from nukeseo.com has brought us so many great things for phpnuke. One of them being the nuke info mod which brings your php info directly into the Nuke CMS. A lot of php scripts require certain php mods to be installed like GD or Freetype. Your Php Info will tell you if it is installed and what version. It is a great hack and very useful when you need it.

Normally if you want to know you phpinfo information you have to create a new php file and upload it to the server. After your done it must be deleted for security reasons. This mod eliminates that and allows you to have the information on hand whenever it is needed. Thanks for the great mod.

Need important information like a PHP configuration setting in order to get support for your PHP-Nuke or RavenNuke site? nukeINFO™ can help! The initial version provides the PHP info to site administrators via a secure admin function – see screen shots below for an example. Note: Does not work with Opera, but does work with IE, FF, Google Chrome, and Safari.

Download requires a 7-zip compatible compression utility.

Clicking the PHP Info admin icon displays the formatted, XHTML-compliant PHP configuration. Although it uses an iframe to display the information, it also uses the IFrame SSI script.

Kguske from nukeseo.com has released yet another great version of the phpnuke wysiwyg editor. For me, it completely changed Phpnuke and allowed users to share content they never could before like videos, images, flash, etc. I am not sure how we ever lived without it before. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next versions. NukeWysiwyg comes already integrated into RavenNuke and is available for standalone download.

Below are some changes that happen in nuke wysiwyg 2.6.4 and download links.

nukeSEO.com released nukeWYSIWYG™ 2.6.4 featuring FCKeditor. This update includes several important new and improved features:

File manager requires Nuke admin authentication (identified by S Electric)

FCKeditor 2.6.4 with new web-based spell checker

Browser-specific and compliance fixes

Please note that the file manager has always validated uploads to prevent files that can be used to cause harm to a site (e.g. executable files like .js and .php, as well as scripts renamed to be images).

Download requires 7-zip.
