This is a simple Splash Screen to modify / amend for use on your PHPNuke site, simply upload the contents of the http folder to your PHPNuke install directory and then visit yoursite.com it should load yoursite.com/index.html first as an entrance screen.

It is currently styled with a flash movie and is 100% XHTML and CSS compliance.

Would you like to offer your users a more informative method to select the time zone they are living in when they register on your site. With this lon file edit you can now do this with this MOD. After being used here for awhile and i am confident that it works as i intend i am releasing the new improved version of the CSS and JS adder.   Simply upload and add the required header.php edit and your set to go. To add a js or css file simply upload to either the css or js dir.   Want per module basis? just create a new dir in the modules dir with the name of the module for example News would be found includes/head/modules/News here you can drop both css and js files.

As you can see from the above it makes short urls for your phpnuke content and fairly easy to manage.  This is hands down one of the best mods ever for Phpnuke in my opinion.

Since you are reading this download description, we assume that you are considering creating shortened URLs on your PHP-Nuke site, such as those seen on this site. By way of background, the original purpose of the shortened URLs concept was to improve upon search engine crawling and indexing. The reason for this, is that search engines were having issues with crawling / indexing long, dynamically generated URLs. While this may no longer be an issue with most search engines, who knows for certain AND many people like “user friendly” links.

You gain the added function of PDF export of articles as well as Printer Friendly and Email to a Friend options. This mod is so simple to install a Caveman could install it, or even a beginner. Two seperate downloads are available, one with a Character Counter mod to allow the control of how many words are allowed in the Story Text to even out the news when in 2 columns and one without this mod.

Most likely in your current theme’s theme.php file you will find a function called themearticle. Below is an example, but yours may not look exactly like it.

Normally if you want to know you phpinfo information you have to create a new php file and upload it to the server.  After your done it must be deleted for security reasons.  This mod eliminates that and allows you to have the information on hand whenever it is needed.  Thanks for the great mod.
